Program Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted economies in unprecedented ways. Many companies in the U.S. took significant actions to preserve liquidity and conserve costs during shutdowns, including changes to executive compensation. However, most companies are currently deciding how to treat the impact of COVID for 2020 incentives and 2021 compensation plans. Our presenters will be covering the following topics during this discussion:
- Actions taken by companies in 2020 to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic
- Implications of COVID-19 on 2020 incentive plans and incentive design for 2021
- Investor views and expectations around executive pay decisions in the current environment
- Other executive compensation developments
