President's LetterOn behalf of the New Jersey Compensation Association (NJCA), I would like to welcome everyone as we kick off our 2021-2022 program year. The last 18 months have been challenging as we have needed to acclimate to working from home, balancing work and family and for some, becoming part-time teachers. Due to COVID-19, the NJCA opted to hold only virtual sessions last year. While we are still navigating the challenges of the pandemic, we are planning to offer a combination of in-person and virtual meetings for the 2021-2022 program year. Since we were unable to meet in person last year, we will be kicking off our year with a Fall social. This will be an opportunity to meet new people in the Total Rewards profession and reconnect with those you most likely have not seen since 2019. Depending on the weather, the social will be held outside. Following the social, we will have a virtual meeting in October and a breakfast meeting in November. More information will be posted on those events shortly. Fall Social – Tuesday, September 21, 5:30-8:30 pm at the Hanover Marriott Membership Options Please note, we are upgrading our credit card invoicing process. As a result, we are unable to accept membership fees via credit card at this time. We have extended everyone’s membership until the upgrade is complete. The NJCA offers organizational memberships as well as individual memberships for those who wish to remain active in the total rewards profession. We are always looking to grow both our corporate and individual membership so please feel free to promote the educational and networking benefits membership affords you within your respective your HR/compensation network.
